Induction Ceremony
Today's Induction Ceremony is a testimony to the generous spirits of the members of the PBPD who share their time and talent to serve as board members to ensure that the PBPD continues to fulfill its mission and vision. Together with its diplomate members, the Board shares the hope that the PBPD continues its tasks competently as it works towards increasing membership through a fair and up-to-date examination process, as we accredit training programs using well developed templates and as we work with the PRC-BOD and the PPDSI to set standards and recommendations for career progression and reciprocal practice in the ASEAN.
While the work may be time consuming, we continue in the best way we can to fulfill the mission and vision set before us.

26th PBPD General Assembly
Welcome to our 26th General Assembly. While we all look forward to an in-person affair next year, I am pleased to see all of you online.
Today we review with you the work that the Board has done in the past year and its plans for the coming year. As we put our house into order with a review of the Constitution and By-laws and the preparation of the Board manual I enjoin all of you to participate more actively in the committees of the Board. I remember promises made prior to the induction ceremonies about assisting actively in the diplomate examination process by formulating questions, helping in the case presentations and oral exams. I would like to hold you to these promises and remind you that the board needs your help to continue its tasks.
Today, we also witness changes in our board. We say good-bye to Dr. Carina De los Reyes as she steps down from board duties after many years of service. We also warmly welcome Dr. Bernadette Kamantigue as new board member. We know that Dinty will be an asset to the board and we look forward to many fruitful years of working together with her.
