The 27th General Assembly of the Philippine Board of Pediatric Dentistry was held last July 3, 2023 at Chef Jessie’s at The Rockwell Club, Makati City. Before the meeting, we had our traditional photoshoot in our togas and Filipiñana attire. The brunch meeting was then presided by Chairman Ma. Rosario Eala and attended by Drs. Abaya, Almoro, Custodio, Caparas, Remulla, Kamantigue, Medel, Raralio.
Excerpts from Dr. Marirose Eala’s Welcome Address.
It is with joy and gratitude that I welcome you to our first in-person meeting after 3 years of holding the General Assembly via Zoom. I am so happy to see all of you here this morning.
We have been able to adjust to working from home, meeting online and working in our clinics with different health protocols in place. it is a testimony to our adaptability and positive outlooks that we have accomplished so much in spite of the challenges we all faced since 2020.

Please join me in thanking our hard working board members: Our secretary, Dr. Mayee Almoro, treasurer Dr. Riza Custodio, board member Dr. Eric Hernandez, and a very warm welcome to our newest board member, Dr. Dinty Kamantigue. Their attendance, conscientiousness, and generous sharing of their time and bright ideas has helped the board accomplish its mandate. We will continue to hold our meetings online.
Let us move on with our General Assembly with reports from your Chair, Secretary and Treasure and then we will listen to the different committee chairpersons report on their respective committees and how they can animate their committees to actively participate to help our organization.
